Email

Housecat can manage all your Gmail and Outlook accounts. It gives you a unified inbox across every connected account with the standard tools you’d expect — view, label, draft, and reply — and then lets you hand any thread to your AI agent to act on it.

Unified Inbox

Connect any number of Gmail and Outlook accounts and Housecat folds them into a single view. A inbox page shows each connected account with its live message and thread counts.

View, Label, Draft, Reply

Every account comes with the core mailbox tools:

  • View — search and read messages and full threads across all your accounts.
  • Label — create, update, and apply Gmail labels and Outlook folders.
  • Draft — compose messages for your review before anything is sent.
  • Reply — send replies.

Hand a Thread to Your Agent

The point of a unified inbox is to act on it. Pass any email or thread to your AI agent and it works the message with your other connected tools — CRM, calendar, tasks, Slack, and Notion:

  • Extract a lead from an inbound email and add it to your CRM.
  • Draft a reply from the context in the thread and a linked doc.
  • Turn a request into a task with the right owner, due date, and a link back to the source.
  • Pull action items out of a long thread and schedule the follow-ups.

Every agent write or archive still runs through Housecat’s approval policies, so the agent never sends or deletes on your behalf without your sign-off.

Classification and Next Actions

Housecat reads your inbox and groups it so nothing important slips. Messages sort into Important, Overdue, and Promotions, and each thread is tagged with a next action — reply, todo, remind, monitor, or review — based on who sent the last message and who owes the next one. Cold inbound dealflow gets its own section so a pitch never gets buried. Newsletters and promotions are filtered out automatically using the List-Unsubscribe header.

Connecting

Connect your accounts from the connections hub with the read / draft / write / archive scopes that fit how much you want the agent to do. See the Connection Hub for how scopes and approvals work.
