Notion
Housecat gives your email visibility into your Notion workspace. Create new pages, update databases, and create new records, all from inside your email. For example when you need to add or update a record in a Notion database, Housecat extracts the relevant people, companies, and other fields, then creates or updates the matching pages, preserving the relations between your databases.
How To
- Open the Housecat command palette with ⌘K (or Ctrl K on Windows).
- Choose the action you want — for example Add to Notion.
- Housecat proposes the changes in a form for you to approve or tweak.
- Once approved, you’ll see the changes instantly.
What Gets Synced
- Pages for contacts and companies — created when new, updated when they exist.
- Notes and conversation context.
- Database properties and the relations between databases.
- Documents and attachments.
Housecat detects existing pages and updates them rather than creating duplicates.
Database Mapping
Housecat maps your existing databases and their properties automatically. It understands your workspace structure — including the relations between databases — and asks you to confirm the mapping before syncing anything. A person created in your Contacts database is linked to the right company in your Organizations database.
