Housecat lets you build and run automations and AI tools, helping you get more done and making your team more efficient.
You connect Housecat to tools like GMail, Notion, and Slack to securely connect, analyze, and synchronize your business and/or personal data.
Housecat uses Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure to process data, and AI providers (Google and Anthropic) to analyze data.
You control your data. Data is private by default until you choose to synchronize it to external services or share it with other users.
We do not allow third parties (like Google or Anthropic) to use your data to train their AI models.
Housecat trains on anonymized data so we can make our product better. You can turn this off in settings.
Data is stored in our US Google Cloud Platform. It is encrypted at rest and in transit. It is backed up daily.

Housecat uses multiple layers of security: data is encrypted at rest, communications use TLS (HTTPS), use a fully managed and hardened cloud application platform (Google Cloud Run), and audit logging is across our application and infrastructure.
Housecat uses automated security scanning with Dependabot and Vanta, monthly vulnerability scans across our infrastructure, security code reviews for all internally developed software, and regular application of security patches and updates.

When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Yes, you can request a full export of all your data at any time. This will include all your emails, documents and account information.
Yes, we back up all data daily to ensure your information is safe. These backups are encrypted and stored securely in our GCP infrastructure.
Notes and transcripts are stored indefinitely by default in Housecat's secure cloud, unless deleted by the user. We do offer custom retention periods on our Enterprise plans, contact help@housecat.com to discuss.
