Housecat templates are launching!
Housecat makes it super easy for you to get through your emails, while keeping you in control. We believe that emails should come from YOU, not an AI.
That’s why we built Housecat auto-templates. We generate templates from the actual emails you’ve already sent, ensuring that we only generate template emails that are in your voice, and sound as if they come from you. Then we suggest potential templates to in a reply and help fill in the blanks.
Housecat generates new templates for all users based on the emails they have historically sent, but all accounts come with templates for common workflows like:
- Introduction / outbound
- Scheduling a meeting
- Introductions and double opt-in introductions
- Politely declining
- Follow-ups / reminders
The flow is simple:
-
Housecat analyses your recently sent messages, and automatically generates templates for the most common email types and patterns. We generate both full emails, and also important snippets that you use often, such as signatures, calendar link, office address or the tagline to your company.
-
Housecat suggests the most useful template at the bottom of every email, letting you insert the template for scheduling or a polite decline instantly. Alternatively, you can insert a template manually whenever you compose a new email by pressing the { } button.
-
Housecat personalizes the email draft as needed, inserting information such as names, times / dates or more complex information to fill out the full template.
-
You always get to review emails before they get sent, and if we aren’t sure about something we’ll flag it for your review before sending. If you have blanks remaining in the template we’ll warn you so you never accidentally send out “Hi FIRST_NAME”
-
As you send more emails we’ll automatically collect potential templates, and ask you if you want to save them.
We’re rolling out the feature to users over the coming week, if you’re interested in being an early tester and giving us feedback please get in touch!
