How can I help you today?

How it works

1

Connect Granola and Google Drive to Housecat

We check how your Google Drive is organized so we know where to save your meeting notes.

2

Select sync mode

Automatic (we sync all meeting notes automatically) or Individual (sync only the meetings you want)

3

Google Drive is updated intelligently

Whenever there are new notes Housecat saves them to the right folder in Google Drive. If needed we'll create new folders.

4

You get a confirmation and can edit or undo

Nothing happens without your knowledge. Review what was synced and make changes if needed.

Why Housecat?

  • Never worry about forgetting to save meeting notes to Google Drive again
  • No engineering or Zapier setup required
  • You're in control — review, edit, or undo any sync
  • Granola notes searchable alongside the rest of your Google files or by Housecat Assistant

FAQ

How does Housecat connect to Granola?

Housecat connects securely to your Granola account via MCP. Once connected, we listen for newly created meeting notes and process them automatically. We do not read your entire history unless you explicitly ask us to process past meetings.

How does Housecat match meeting notes to Google Drive folders?

We match primarily by email address or domain name to sort meeting notes into the right folders. We can set up custom sorting logic if this is needed.

Can I choose which folder files are saved to?

Yes. During setup you select a root folder in Google Drive. Housecat organizes files into subfolders by project, client, or date.

Can I review changes before they sync?

By default Housecat sends a confirmation for every sync, and you can edit or undo any changes before they're finalized. We can also enable full review mode where every change requires human approval before files are saved.

Is it real-time?

Near real-time. Granola meeting notes are typically processed and saved to Google Drive within a few minutes.

Will it create duplicate files?

No. Housecat tracks what has already been saved and avoids duplicates. It warns you if it detects a potential conflict.
